The Program for Global Integrated Assessment Modeling develops tools to support carbon neutrality under the new climate regime by integrating top-down models for assessing the macroeconomic impacts of GHG mitigation policies with bottom-up models for evaluating sectoral mitigation technologies. The program also analyzes government climate strategies and NDC policy instruments to guide effective, evidence-based action.
