- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s Research Team Accepted in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits
- Prof. Jung's paper, “Dual-input Stacked Inverter-based Single-ended DRAM Sense Amplifier Using BL Switches for Low-power High-speed Sensing”, has been published in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), one of the most highly-ranked journals in circuit design field (Impact Factor 4.6). The proposed BLSA enables high-speed sensing operation in low VDD using a dual-input stacked inverter, which significantly improves power efficiency compared to previous BLSAs. - Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s Research Team Accepted in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits
- Prof. Jung's paper, “A Low-Voltage Area-Efficient TSV I/O With QEC Realizing Data Rate up to 15 Gb/s for TSV Interface”, has been published in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), one of the most highly-ranked journals in circuit design field (Impact Factor 4.6). The proposed TSV I/O effectively mitigates signal integrity degradation occurring in low-voltage & high-speed operation by utilizing a hybrid equalizer, direct feedback 1-tap DFE, and quadrature clock error corrector. This work was led by Taeryeong Kim (Ph.D. Candidate) and Prof. Seong-Ook Jung of the VLSI system laboratory.

- Minchul Hong (Prof. Hong’s team)’s paper has been accepted in IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (TVT)
- The journal paper by Hong's research team, titled “User Selection with Effective Channel Quality Feedback for PMI-based MU-MIMO,” has been accepted in the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (Impact Factor 6.1), one of the top-ranked journals in the electrical & electronic engineering field (JCR 12.6%). This study was led by Ph.D. candidate Minchul Hong as the first author, with Prof. Kyungsik Min and Prof. Daesik Hong serving as the corresponding author and advisor, respectively.

- Prof. Jeonghun Park’s paper has been accepted in IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications
- Prof. Park recently received acceptance for publication in the IEEE TWC for his research titled "Joint and Robust Beamforming Framework for Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems." This study addresses optimization in integrated sensing and communication systems, a topic of recent interest. Prof. Park is the corresponding author. The research was conducted in collaboration with teams from KAIST, Korea University, and Arizona State University (ASU).

- Jae Hun Kim of Professor Ilgu Yun's research team (Semiconductor Engineering Laboratory) has developed a gallium nitride (GaN)-based light-emitting transistor. The developed device is the world's first light emitting transistor with a metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) gate structure, possessing both innovation and potential. It was published in November of 2024 in ACS Applied Electronic Materials (IF: 4.5, top 20.2% in JCR). - Prof. Seung Ah Lee’s research group have won Best Poster Awards in Advanced Biophotonics Conference 2024
- Hyesuk Chae, Hyojun Ahn of Prof. Seung Ah Lee’s research group (OISL) have won a Best Poster Awards in Advanced Biophotonics Conference 2024 held by OSK—Optical Society of Korea. The paper on ”Quantitative Fluorescence Imaging for Detection of Dental Plaque with Lensless Camera” was led by Taeyoung Kim(first author) and presented by Hyojun Ahn and “Pupil Plane Multiplexing for Polarization-sensitive Fourier Ptychography” led by Hyesuk Chae (first author). Both works were supervised by Prof. Seung Ah Lee (corresponding author).

- Prof. Sanghoon Lee’s research group have won Best Demo Award in ACM Multimedia Conference 2024
- Professor Sanghoon Lee’s research team (Multi-dimensional Insight Lab.) published a paper titled “DanceMimic: Awaken Your Dancing Instinct through a Real-time Dance Imitation Capture System", a real-time dance imitation capture and evaluation system aimed at enhancing the accessibility and experience of dance learning. This research was recognized for its excellence, winning the Best Demo Award on October 30, 2024, at the ACM Multimedia Conference 2024. Under the supervision of Professor Sanghoon Lee (corresponding author), the study was led by co-first authors, Seongjean Kim and Jungwoo Huh.

- Prof. Hyun Jae Kim’s research team won the Best Poster Paper Award at the 2024 IMID
- Jae seong Han and Yong min Jeong won the won the Best Poster Paper Award at the IMID 2024 conference. IMID, one of the top three global information display conferences held since 2001, awards notable research presented in poster sessions. Jae-seong Han verified HZO crystallization and IGZO FeFET characteristics through a single process, while Yong-min Jeong proposed a new phototransistor and pixel circuit for Stretchable Displays with external brightness control.

- Prof. Lee's group developed a stretchable thermoelectric fiber based multimodal sensor, published in Advanced Functiona
- Prof. Taeyoon Lee’s group(NanoBio Device Lab.) developed a stretchable thermoelectric (TE) fiber with copper iodide (CuI) nanoparticles, and a temperature-strain-pressure multimodal sensor. The results were published in Advanced Functional Materials (IF = 18.5, JCR Top 4.1%) in July this year, and were selected as an Editor's Choice. This research was led by Kukro Yoon and Dr. Sanghyeon Lee (co-first authors) under the guidance of Prof. Taeyoon Lee (corresponding author). - Prof. Jong-Moon Chung Engineering Education Award
- Prof. Jong-Moon Chung received the Engineering Education Award from the Korean Society of Engineering Education on Sept. 26, 2024. This award recognizes the outstanding achievement of two book that have been published by the Springer Nature publisher in 2023 and 2024, and the special achievement of creating 12 online courses in Coursera that have over 209 Million unique visitors and users. For these accomplishments Prof. Chung has also received the Headong Award of Excellence in 2022 from the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK), and Prof. is serving as the Secretary General of the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Division of the NAEK.
