- Prof. Lee’s papers “DP-NeRF: Deblurred Neural Radiance Field with Physical Scene Priors”, “Exploring Discontinuity for Video Frame Interpolation”, “Look Around for Anomalies: Weakly-supervised Anomaly Detection via Context-Motion Relational Learning” are to be published in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR), the most highly-ranked conference in Computer Vison & Pattern Recognition field (Rank 1). These works were led by Sangjin Lee (M.S/Ph.D 7rd), Dogyoon Lee (M.S/Ph.D 9th), Hyeongmin Lee (M.S/Ph.D 11th) and MyeongAh Cho (M.S/Ph.D 11th) as the first authors and Prof. Sangyoun Lee as the corresponding author.

- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s Research Team Accepted in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits
- Prof. Jung's paper, “Dual-Mode Operations of Self-Rectifying Ferroelectric Tunnel Junction Crosspoint Array for High-Density Integration of IoT Devices”, has been published in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), one of the most highly-ranked journals in circuit design field (Impact Factor 6.126). The proposed SR-FTJ crosspoint array operates in dual-mode as CAM and PUF, which significantly improves area efficiency compared to previous CAMs and PUFs. This work was led by Sehee Lim (Ph.D. Candidate) and Prof. Seong-Ook Jung of the VLSI system laboratory (collaborated with Prof. Sanghun Jeon's research team in KAIST).

- Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim’s group awards IEEE Heinrich Hertz Award
- Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim awarded ‘IEEE Heinrich Hertz Award’ for “Blockchained On-Device Federated Learning” paper, published to IEEE Communications Letters. The paper proposes “BlockFL,” which uses AI algorithms in a distributed manner based on blockchain network for the next-generation (6G) communication. The paper has won the Top Popular Article by IEEE Communications Society, a Highly Cited Paper for top 1% of Web of Science papers, and top-3 papers of Yonsei for FWCI. This award is the result of a joint research team by Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim, Dr. Hyesung Kim (Samsung Research), Prof. Jihong Park (prof. at Deakin University, Australia), and Prof. Mehdi Bennis (prof. at the University of Oulu, Finland).

- Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim’s group on behalf of Yonsei University signs MoU with Nokia for Yonsei Private-5G
- Yonsei university and Nokia have entered a two-year joint research partnership on April 5, utilizing Nokia's products 5G RAN solutions such as AirScale equipment. Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim's team and Yonsei University plan to install a Private-5G network on campus and research/develop university-specific solutions such as 5G-based robots and machine learning applications.

- Prof. Jong-Moon Chung's research team published a paper on RNA Sequence analysis of non-small cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) using AI technologies with the Severance Cancer Hospital research team, which was published in the Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology journal (Q1, IF=6.064). The paper is the first paper to present a roadmap on how to select the optimal AI technology to analyze Lung Cancer Cells and Tumors using the RNA sequence information of a patient. The study was supervised by Prof. Jong-Moon Chung (corresponding author) and led by student Minsoo Joo (first author).

- Prof. Seo’s research team (BLISS) reported a novel artificial graft that is self-healing, anti-thromobotic, and anti-biofouling. The artificial graft can be integrated with self-healing blood flow sensor to monitor the blood flow through the artificial graft. This work hhas been accepted for publication in ACS Nano (IF = 18.027, JCR 5.65%) The research was supervised under Prof. Jungmok Seo (corresponding author) and led by graduate student Kijun Park, and Jihyun Kim (Co-first author)|

- Prof. Yong-June Shin’s Research Group Grants Mid-Career Researcher Program Subsequent Research of NRF (Phase IV)
- Professor Yong-Jun Shin's research team was recognized for its excellence in research on the development of the “Diagnostics and Monitoring of Electric Power Systems for Super Grid“, and they proposed a "Digital Twin Based Integrated Predictive Maintenance Technology" for an ESS-cable integrated management system in a follow-up study of Mid-Career Researcher program (Phase IV). This research project will be conducted between Mar. 2023 and Feb. 2026. (Phase I: 2014~2017, Phase II: 2017~2020, Phase III: 2020~2023) This research will be carried out with a total of 855 million won in research funding from the Ministry of Science and ICT/National Research Foundation of Korea for the next three years.
