- Han Kuwon( Ph.D. candidate) students in RAMO Lab, proposed new hybrid positioning algorithm with Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim. The thesis was accepted at IEEE IoT Journal, International Internet of Things Area Journal (3rd in Computer Science Area, IF 9.936, JCR 1.60%). This paper proposes a new hybrid positioning algorithm combining radio signal and IMU sensors. The Wi-Fi round-trip time (RTT) and the Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) technique are used to estimate the position. Various field experiments verify the proposed algorithm in line-of-sight (LOS) guaranteed and LOS / non-LOS mixed environments.

- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s Research Team Accepted in IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security
- Prof. Seong-Ook Jung’s MTJ-based PUF technique was accepted in IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (TIFS) (IF: 6.013, JIF Percentile: 91.272%, Q1), the renowned journal in information forensics and security field. The proposed PUF achieves the lowest bit error rate under wide temperature and supply voltage variations by exploiting auto write-back technique. This research was made by doctor Byungkyu Song and professor Seong-Ook Jung in VLSI system laboratory.

- Lee Changmin, a doctoral student in RAMO Lab, proposed ASMP (Adaptive Sensor node Management Protocol) technology with Prof. Seong-Lyun Kim. The thesis about ASMP was accepted at IEEE IoT J, International Internet of Things Area Journal(3rd in Computer Science Area, IF 9.936, JCR 1.60%). ASMP technology optimizes sensor node’s data collection period with QoS using adaptive filter of Mean Velocity based Prediction(MVP) method, when monitoring disaster situation in a remote area. It is the technology that guarantees QoS of sensor node’s data collection and self-sustainability by proposing new protocol for efficiency of data collection by sensor nodes and the server.
