- Ph.D student Hyukyeon Lee from prof. Jaeseok Kim's research team has won the gold prize at the 2019 IEEE Seoul Section Student Paper Contest. The research title is 'Low-Latency Lattice Reduction Based on Dual-Basis Updates for High-Dimensional MIMO Streams’. This research proposes a lattice reduction algorithm and detection scheme based on dual-basis updates for low-latency and high-performance next-generation wireless communication systems. This research was led by Professor Jae-Seok Kim of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Yonsei University, and Dr. Hyuk-Yeon Lee participated in the research as the main author.

- Prof. Taeyoon Lee’s research team developed a hierarchical hairy fiber based multimodal gesture-distinguishable sensors and a smart glove for VR control. This research was selected as a cover paper by ‘Advanced Functional Materials’ (IF=15.621, < JCR top 3.38%), a prestigious journal in the field of materials. This research was performed by Prof. Taeyoon Lee (YSU) and Prof. Changhyun Pang (SKKU) as corresponding author, Kukro Yoon (YSU) and Seunghoon Choi (SKKU) as co-first author. This work was supported by R&D program of MOTIE/KEIT, Basic Science Research Program and Nano·Material Technology Development Program through the NRF.
