- Prof. Jongyoo Kim has joined Yonsei EE (Multimedia AI Lab.)
- Prof. Jongyoo Kim has joined Yonsei EE as an Associate Professor in Mar. 2024. His research area covers multimedia signal processing, 2D/3D computer vision, graphics, and AI. After obtaining a BS, MS, and Ph.D. from Yonsei Univ., he joined the Computer Vision group at Microsoft Research Asia. He contributed to various projects, including Azure Cognitive Service and Microsoft Designer, while researching various vision and graphics-related topics. Prof. Kim has published more than 30 papers in SCI journals and international conferences and is a reviewer for IEEE TIP, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, ICASSP, CVPR, and ECCV. He is teaching the Digital Signal Processing (EEE4420-03) in the first semester of 2024.

- Prof. Insang Yoo has joined Yonsei EE (META ELECTROMAGNETICS Research Group
- Prof. Insang Yoo joined the EE department at Yonsei University in Spring 2024. His research focus encompasses a broad range of advanced electromagnetic structures and their applications in next-generation wireless systems (e.g., 6G communication, space communication, imaging, radar, wireless power transfer, remote sensing, etc.). He has published more than 20 journal and conference papers. Also, he has been serving as a referee for journals in the field of electromagnetics (e.g., IEEE TAP, IEEE AWPL) and wireless communications (IEEE TCOM, IEEE TWC, IEEE WCM). He will be offering Antenna Engineering (EEE4140) class during the upcoming Spring 2024 semester.

- Seonyoung Cheon (Prof. Hanjun Kim’s team) Wins Silver Prize in Samsung Humantech Paper Awards
- Seonyoung Cheon (Prof. Hanjun Kim’s research team) was awarded the silver prize in the Computer Science & Engineering section at 30th Samsung Humantech Paper Awards, for the paper titled “DaCapo: Automatic Bootstrapping Management for Efficient Fully Homomorphic Encryption”. (2024. 2. 7.) This research was led by Seonyoung Cheon (first author) under the supervision of Prof. Hanjun Kim and Yongwoo Lee, Dongkwan Kim, Ju Min Lee participated in this work.

- Jae Park (Professor Jeongmok Seo’s research team) approved for publication in Chemical Engineering Journal
- Prof. Jungmok Seo’s research team (BLISS) introduced a technology that can effectively treat fractures through the development of an antifouling coating material that can selectively induce the attachment of only growth factors that promote bone union. The results were approved for publication in Chemical Engineering Journal (IF=15.1). This study was supervised by Professor Jungmok Seo (corresponding author) and led by Jae Park, the first author.
