Prof. Seung Ah Lee's research team (optical imaging system lab) collaborated with Severance Hospital's pathology department to develop a virtual re-staining technology that combines computational-based microscopy technology and AI to restore faded pathological tissue samples that have been stored for a long time, and proposed a way to drastically reduce the cost and time of physicochemical re-staining. The results were published in the special issue of APL Photonics (IF = 5.6, JCR 13.9%). (Publication dates: Oct 18th, 2024)
